Know before you go:

Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari is a privately owned zoo. We do not receive any funding from anywhere other than admission. Wildwood Wildlife Park accepts cash and credit cards. We do have a 4% surcharge to run cards.

Due to mechanical, health, weather or other safety conditions, we may have to close certain areas or attractions. We live in Northern Wisconsin. The weather can be very unpredictable. If it is below 50 degrees many of the animals will be indoors. You can still see them through the walkways of their buildings. In spring and fall, we have no control of when it warms up, or cools down for the season. We have to take our animals into consideration of what temperatures they can handle. So not everything may be on display during these times.

No rain checks or refunds will be issued. Guests wishing to leave the park and return the same day need to have their hand stamped at the Gift Shop.

Admission Policies

Coolers/Ice Chests:

For the safety of park guest and the animals at Wildwood Wildlife Park, the zoo does not allow coolers of any size or ice chests. Outside beverages and snacks are permitted inside the zoo, with the exception of beverages with straws, glass containers, alcohol or picnic food. You are welcome to have picnic lunch outside the zoo at picnic tables by parking lot. Grills are not allowed on zoo grounds. To reenter the zoo, make sure you get stamped on the way out of the gift shop.

Smoking/Vaping:

All smoke products including: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, as well as alternative smoking devices including e-cigarettes, are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Smoking is banned everywhere on zoo grounds; including but not limited to the main pathways, bathrooms, tram ride, snack stand areas, benches and parking lot.

Photography/Videography:

You are welcome to take photos and/or video for your personal use only; commercial photography is prohibited without written permission/consent from Wildwood Wildlife Park Director. On occasion we will photograph or videotape visitors for educational and promotional purposes. Entry to the zoo grants permission for use of these images.

Dress Code:

All guests entering the zoo are required to wear shirts and shoes while visiting Wildwood Wildlife Park. Offensive clothing and or costumes are prohibited.

Pet Policy:

Wildwood Wildlife Park does not allow any kind of pets into the park due to the safety of our animals free roaming and the safety of our guests while visiting.
